As he receive China Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi, for State House, President Tinubu also ask say make China review the $50 billion aid package wey China President, Xi Jinping, announce last year for Africa.
After the meeting, Nigeria Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yussuf Tuggar, talk say both countries don agree to push their multilateral relations higher, especially for areas like communication, clean energy, defense, and infrastructure finance.
Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi, talk through female interpreter say China go focus their investments in Nigeria on creating jobs and developing infrastructure.
Tinubu still use the opportunity to ask China to support Nigeria’s bid for permanent seat for United Nations Security Council. The Chinese Foreign Minister also talk say China go welcome Nigeria joining BRICS and participating in global development plans.
