Presidency don deny widespread talk wey say di proposed tax reform bills wey dey before National Assembly go lead to di dissolution of important federal agencies.

Di recent talks about di tax reform bills from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government don bring plenty wrong information, with some people talk say di reforms go lead to di closure of key government agencies.

Dem also talk say di reforms go only help states like Lagos and Rivers, and go make northern states poor.

Some governors for di north don raise concern, especially about di new way VAT (Value Added Tax) go share, and dem fear say e go affect di economy for their region.

But di presidency don clear say di tax reforms no go dissolve agencies. Instead, dem say di aim na to make tax management easier, reduce wahala for businesses, and make sure say revenue go balance well between all states, with plans to support states wey dey need am more to keep fairness.
