Police don summon El-Rufai and ADC leaders over wahala plan and talk wey fit cause gbege

The Kaduna State Police Command don invite former governor Nasir El-Rufai and six top members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) make dem come answer for serious allegations wey fit shake public peace.

According to police letter wey Deputy Commissioner of Police, CID, Uzainu Abdullahi sign, the invite na part of investigation wey concern criminal conspiracy, incitement of public disturbance, mischief, and causing grievous hurt. The ADC chairman for Kaduna State don get order make e bring El-Rufai and the others go State CID office on September 8, 2025.

The people wey police mention include Bashir Sa’idu, Jafaru Sani, Ubaidullah Mohammed, popularly known as “30,” Nasiru Maikano, Aminu Abita, and Ahmed Rufa’i Hussaini, also called “Mikiya.”

This move come after recent political tension wey bust during ADC meeting for Kaduna, where suspected thugs attack participants and scatter property. Eyewitnesses talk say the thugs carry cutlass, clubs, and stones, injure people and damage cars.

Police later seal the ADC secretariat just hours before ADC North-West leaders wan visit the place for commiseration. El-Rufai don condemn the action, call am unconstitutional, and vow to challenge the matter for court even reach Supreme Court if need be.

Meanwhile, ADC leaders accuse the police and Kaduna State Government of trying to suppress opposition politics. Dem warn say the country dey slide into dictatorship if security agencies dey used to silence political voices.
