As the incident happen, fear immediately grip passengers and people wey dey airport as rumours begin fly say plane don crash. Some people sef begin dey shout and pray, thinking say serious aviation disaster don happen.

But Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) later calm nerves, explain say no be crash at all. According to dem, the aircraft land well-well for runway before the heavy rainfall make am skid comot from the correct path enter soft and swampy ground.

NCAA mouthpiece, Michael Achimugu, yarn say na wetin aviation people dey call “runway excursion” happen, meaning say plane waka comot from runway after landing because weather condition no gree am maintain normal movement.

“Plane land safely, but because rain too much and weather bad, e slide comot runway,” Achimugu talk.

By God grace, no life loss and nobody sustain injury from the incident. All passengers and crew members comot from the aircraft alive and unharmed.
