Di National President of di Association, Mr Aliyu Isah, talk say di reason no be one but plenty, and e lead to low production of onion.
Isah talk say di high cost from di last quarter of 2024 till now na because of climate change wey bring long rainfall and disease wey affect onion farms. E also talk say flooding wey affect some parts of di North, plus di problem of no enough improved onion seedlings, na all of dem dey cause di situation.
