Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will today, Monday, in Abuja, present Éric Chelle as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles.

In a statement yesterday, NFF Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, said the event will take place at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, by 11 a.m.

The NFF Executive Committee confirmed Chelle’s appointment last Tuesday, based on a recommendation from the Technical and Development Committee of the football body.

The 47-year-old coach will focus mainly on the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, starting with matches against Rwanda (away) and Zimbabwe (home) in March.

At today’s unveiling, the NFF will also announce the names of Coach Chelle’s assistants, and the crew will oversee the Super Eagles B team for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) scheduled for next month in East Africa.
