The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) don declare 281 inmates missing after officers and other security agencies evacuate inmates to a safer facility. The evacuation come after flood destroy the walls of the correctional facilities, including the Medium Security Custodial Centre Maiduguri (MSCC) and staff quarters in the city.

In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, NCoS also talk say seven other inmates don dey recaptured, and dem dey work on making the details and biometrics of the missing inmates available to the public.
