National Assembly Don Set Jan. 31 as Tentative Date to Pass N49.7 Trillion 2025 Appropriation Bill

Senator Solomon Adeola, wey be Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations, talk this one yesterday during meeting with chairmen of standing committees for the Senate. He talk say January 31 go be the day for laying the report of the appropriation bill before both Senate and House of Representatives.

Adeola also mention say, after the Christmas and New Year break on January 14, both chambers go suspend plenary for two weeks to allow ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to defend their budget.

He add say, National Assembly don set January 9 for an open day on the budget so that different stakeholders, apart from MDAs heads, fit make their own contributions.
