Meanwhile, Ikeja Magistrate court for Ogba, Lagos, discharge Comfort Bob wey dem accuse of bad behaviour and assault inside Ibom Air flight.

He talk say even though the matter no sweet, everybody don learn lesson and airport security rules don show well for people wey dey travel. The whole drama don help people understand how to behave for airport.

(a) For the case of Comfort Emmanson wey behave anyhow inside Ibom Air flight on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Minister don talk with Ibom Air make dem withdraw the complaint against her. When Police take her statement with her lawyer present, she show serious remorse.

(b) After the complainant withdraw the case, CP of Airport Command and Police Prosecutor go take steps to release her from Kirikiri Prison within this week.

(c) Minister don also talk with Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) and beg them make dem lift the lifetime flying ban wey dem give her. Dem agree, and AON go later talk the full details.

(d) For KWAM 1 matter, NCAA go reduce him flight ban to one month. FAAN go work with am to make him airport security ambassador going forward.

(e) Since KWAM 1 don show say he regret wetin happen, NCAA go also withdraw the criminal complaint wey dem file against am with Police.

(f) For Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba of ValueJet, NCAA go return their licenses after one-month ban, but dem go first do mandatory professional re-appraisal. NCAA go announce the full details.

Legal practitioner and Executive Director of Cadrell Advocacy Centre, Evans Ufeli, also talk say even though compassion good, e no suppose affect aviation safety and accountability.

He no gree with Minister wey talk say both passengers and airline staff share blame. Ufeli say wetin happen no be small quarrel but serious breach of safety rules wey dey protect passengers and crew.

According to Evans Ufeli, to dey excuse people wey misbehave just because dem show say dem dey sorry fit make impunity waka free, and e go spoil the strict rules wey dey guide aviation sector.

He talk say, “If we no hold strong zero-tolerance policy against unruly behaviour, we go dey build culture wey go make passengers feel say dem fit misbehave anyhow and nothing go happen.”

Ufeli still question why Federal Government go appoint KWAM-1 as ambassador for proper airport conduct just shortly after dem punish am for causing wahala during flight.
