From Monday, 12th August 2024, the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line go increase its trips from 54 to 72 per day. Lagos State Government don introduce 25% discount for commuters wey dey travel during off-peak period, wey be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

The Managing Director of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), Engr. Abimbola Akinajo, talk say Blue Line train riders go now dey travel between Marina and Mile 2 in about 18 minutes instead of the previous 25 minutes.

This means say train go dey come every 18 minutes both ways, so commuters fit plan their trips well. But the schedule for Sunday operations go still remain the same.
