Lagos State Government don announce diversion plan ahead of emergency repairs on Independence/Mekwen Bridge wey dey inbound the Marina/CMS route.

The State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Oshiyemi, confirm the diversion for a statement yesterday. According to the statement, the diversion go start from March 19 and go last until May 26.

During the repairs, the road from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) through Bonny Camp Bridge to Independence Bridge go dey closed to vehicles. Also, the service lane at Bonny Camp Underpass Bridge inbound Independence Bridge no go dey accessible to motorists.

Oshiyemi still talk say the service lane from Ahmadu Bello Way to Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue go remain open for traffic.
