Dem bin vex as Federal Government propose N48,000 as di national minimum wage, and dem call am nonsense. Organised private sector sef don talk say dem fit pay N54,000 as minimum wage.
NLC President, Joe Ajaero, talk say government no get di correct data to negotiate with labour and dem no serious about di mata. But he still talk say government get till di end of di month to make decision.
TUC President, Festus Osifo, for one Channels Television program yesterday night, yan say di N48,000 wey government propose na rubbish and government no serious for di negotiation with workers. He argue say di least federal workers dey already collect up to N77,000, so to propose N48,000 now na “abysmal.”
NLC and TUC bin propose say make Federal government pay Nigerian workers N615,000 as minimum wage, because of di high cost of living for di country.
