NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, talk say agency oga, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd.), reveal the matter during press briefing for Lagos on Tuesday.
According to Marwa, na one of the biggest drug investigations wey NDLEA don handle for recent times. The operation lead to the seizure of 184.50 kilograms of cocaine, wey be the biggest cocaine catch ever through courier company for Nigeria.
Marwa explain say the whole operation start after NDLEA intercept one huge cocaine shipment wey criminals hide inside package wey dem wan export through courier logistics channel for Lagos.
As NDLEA seize the drugs, Marwa immediately set up Special Investigation Team make dem trace everybody wey get hand for the operation, from courier workers reach the main masterminds.
According to am, the cartel bin dey expect to make about N39 billion from the cocaine through their international distribution network.
As NDLEA join body with management of the courier company, dem uncover different companies and middlemen wey dey help process the drug shipment. The investigation later lead to the arrest of key suspects.
