The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don present Certificates of Return to candidates wey win the bye-elections wey happen on June 20, 2026, across Rivers, Enugu, Nasarawa, Ondo and Kano states.

The certificates officially confirm the winners as the duly elected representatives for their various constituencies. INEC Chairman, Joash Amupitan, was represented by May Agbamuche-Mbu during the presentation ceremony for Rivers State.

Agbamuche-Mbu congratulate the winners and advise dem make dem serve their people well, saying their biggest responsibility na to represent their constituents faithfully.

INEC also announce say certificates go still presented to the governor-elect of Ekiti State for Ado-Ekiti and the winner of the Zuru State Constituency election for Kebbi State.
