Mrs. Tinubu no fit come the event herself, so she send Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun, wey be the Wife of the Inspector General of Police, to represent am for one Sensitization Programme wey dem get for Governors’ Spouses for Abuja.

Senator Tinubu talk say the Governors’ Spouses get important role to play for the fight against drug abuse. Dem fit use their voice to talk against am and also make sure say people wey need help fit get access to rehabilitation services.

During the event, Brig. Gen Buba Marwa (rtd), wey be the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), talk say e dey worry dem say many states no get functional offices wey dey control drug matters. E talk say na only 10 states get State drug control committees wey dey work well-well, and e beg make dem do more to make sure say dem fit manage drug abuse better.

The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, also talk say make everybody join hand to put better policies and programs wey go fit solve the problem of drug abuse.
