From November 1, Nigeria go stop to export locally produced cooking gas (LPG). Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo, talk am during meeting with stakeholders for Abuja. Him say this decision na to help bring down the price wey don dey rise steadily.
Ekpo also talk say the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority go dey work with stakeholders to create better pricing framework for local LPG within 90 days. He add say within 12 months, dem go set up facilities to blend, store, and deliver the gas, and dem no go export again until the market fit balance and price stable.
