Federal Government don name nine persons and six BDC operators wey dey finance terrorism

Federal Government don allegedly list Kaduna-based publisher, Tukur Mamu, and 14 others as people wey dey finance terrorism.

According to reports, di Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit don list di identities of di 15 entities, wey include nine individuals and six Bureau De Change (BDC) operators and companies.

According to The Punch newspaper, NFIU documents show say di Nigeria Sanctions Committee bin meet on March 18, 2024, and dem recommend specific individuals and entities for sanction because of their involvement for financing terrorism.

Among di individuals wey dem name for di document na Tukur, wey dey currently dey tried by di Federal Government for allegedly helping di terrorists wey attack di Abuja-Kaduna train for March 2022.
