Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) don order MultiChoice Nigeria, wey dey operate DStv and GOtv, to maintain their current subscription prices until dem finish investigation on the company’s proposed tariff adjustment.

The Director of Corporate Affairs for FCCPC, Ondaje Ijagwu, talk say this order follow MultiChoice request to extend the time for their appearance before the commission due to concerns about their constant price increases.

Even though FCCPC allow the company to postpone the session, dem don reschedule am for March 6, 2025, and don tell the company CEO, relevant officers, and the company to provide a full response to the investigation.

The agency also talk say the freeze on the prices go help prevent any form of consumer exploitation while the investigation dey go on.
