Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, don raise alarm say some foreign fraud syndicates dey form cells for different cities inside Nigeria.

Olukoyede talk this one when him receive participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC 18). He say the syndicates dey recruit young Nigerians join serious cybercrime, including cryptocurrency fraud.

The EFCC boss still reveal say dem dey suspect some of these foreigners – including ex-convicts from their country – dey use cryptocurrency to pay for illegal importation of arms into Nigeria.

He warn say EFCC no go allow Nigeria turn safe haven for criminals.
