Edo Queens come from behind to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa 2-1 on Saturday and secure a spot in the semifinals of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The win, in their final Group B match at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca, sent the South Africans out of the competition, ending their hopes of defending their title.
Edo Queens now face the Congolese side TP Mazembe on Tuesday, while hosts ASFAR of Morocco will take on FC Masar of Egypt in the second semifinal.
