Department of State Services (DSS) don charge one man, Mubarak Abdullahi, wey dem dey call Sardaunan Samari, over one fake document wey dem claim say President Bola Tinubu write give President of America.

Dem charge am with three offences wey concern cybercrime and defamation for Federal High Court, Kaduna.

According to one message wey Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, post for X on Monday night, DSS arrest Abdullahi on September 28 after e share the fake document for im Facebook page with the caption, “ATIKU IS COMING.”

Onanuga talk say Abdullahi admit to investigators say na im share the document, and e apologise for wetin e do. But the apology no stop DSS from taking legal action against am.

The presidential aide explain say DSS carry Abdullahi go Chief Magistrate Court No. 10, Kabala Doki, Kaduna, where the court order make dem keep am for Nigerian Correctional Centre, Kaduna.

E add say DSS don file three charges against Abdullahi for Federal High Court, Kaduna. However, dem never fix date for im formal arraignment for the court.

Onanuga also assure Nigerians say DSS get the ability to track people wey dey spread false information for internet.

Meanwhile, PUNCH Online talk say dem no fit confirm by themselves whether Abdullahi na supporter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. As dem publish the report, Atiku and im media aide, Phrank Shaibu, never talk anything about the matter.

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, don also condemn the arrest.

Sowore question why security agency like DSS go arrest citizen because e share document for internet.

E also accuse the government of trying to stop Nigerians from speaking against am and warn say one day, government officials go answer for their actions.
