As e dey talk for one conference wey dem gather PDP founding fathers and stakeholders for Abuja – wey dem title “Reclaiming Our Legacy, Renewing Our Collective Vision” – Bala warn say person no fit dey two parties at once.

Big names like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President David Mark, and former presidential hopeful Dele Momodu don recently port from PDP go join the ADC-led opposition coalition ahead of 2027 election.

As e respond, Bala say e dey disappointed say dem leave strong platform wey get structure go party wey no get foundation at all. E talk say PDP go later prove say na dem get ground pass. As chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Bala talk:

“If person wan comot from PDP go another party, how dat one smart? PDP get history, e get legacy, structure full everywhere, and our governors dey try.

But as dem dey disturb us and we know wetin we dey face, no be say we go dey fear and no talk am. Yes, politics na local something. Some people fit go because of reasons or calculation, but I sure say dem go later see say dem make mistake.

Even our elders wey don waka, we no wan insult or talk bad about dem. We dey beg dem with respect – make dem come back. Na wetin our National Chairman talk — make una come back. Na una build dis house. Where governors full, where senators, house members, speakers, council chairmen dey — una dey go party wey no even get office. Na sickness be dat.

We dey reason with dem. Maybe dem feel say dem fit get ticket for dat side. But wetin be ticket if you go still lose? Abeg, come back. You no get reason to waka.

Bauchi governor still yarn say all PDP governors dey deliver wella for their states.

E come add say, “But as chairman don talk, we no fit allow indiscipline turn contagious. If you dey PDP, dey PDP. You no fit dey PDP and still dey do coalition with another party. We no go gree. You get time to decide. Coalition na mistake, I talk am.

You no fit dey two places at once. You no fit be Aphrodite. You no fit be man and woman at the same time. Be who you be. But we go still give you time to think, because una still be our leaders.
