Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasir Mu’azu, talk say the attack happen after villagers from Ruwan Sanyi ambush bandits some days before, kill plenty of them, rescue kidnapped people, and collect their guns and bikes.
“The revenge attack happen when people dey pray early morning. The criminals just begin shoot anyhow inside the mosque,” Mu’azu yarn.
He talk say military and police don enter the matter, and both air and ground operation dey go on to chase the attackers.
“The bandits dey hide under farm crops during rainy season to do their bad work. We dey work with security people to flush them commot,” the commissioner add.
Mu’azu praise the boldness of the villagers wey fight back, say their action na real bravery. He still talk say government go continue to support community security plans and help the families wey suffer.
The condolence team wey go the area include Dr. Nasir Mu’azu, Commissioner for Internal Security; senior aides wey dey handle community watch and bandit victims; the Malumfashi lawmaker for state House of Assembly; the council chairman; and big oga them from security like Police Commissioner, Commander of 17 Brigade Nigerian Army, DSS Director, and NSCDC Commandant.
Katsina State Government still talk say dem go continue to work to bring peace and protect lives for the state. Dem don already give support to the victims’ families and dey do full check to know the level of damage.
