Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) don dismiss viral report wey talk say dem don introduce two new notes—₦5,000 and ₦10,000. Dem bank say di report na fake, and dem urge di public to always verify information through their official website.

Di fake report spread for WhatsApp, and e talk say di new notes go start to circulate from May 1 as part of effort to improve cash transactions and manage liquidity better.

CBN still remind everybody say if you wan check official statement, make sure say you visit their official website: cbn.gov.ng.
