As 2027 general election dey come, Interim National Secretary of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, don start big membership campaign for Lagos State. He dey tell people make dem vote out All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aregbesola talk say APC, PDP and Labour Party (LP) don fail Nigeria before, but ADC go give Nigerians better arrangement.
ADC Influencer for Kosofe Local Government, Funmi Onita-Coker, talk say Aregbesola enter Kosofe on Monday to gather new members for the party.
The former minister tell people wey show face make dem start serious membership drive for ADC, and he promise say all the support wey dem need go dey available.
Aregbesola talk say, “I dey beg una make una go spread ADC message to all Nigerians, especially people wey dey una local government.
“Tell dem say new hope and better opportunity dey wait for dem inside our party. We dey promise new arrangement wey go reset Nigeria to better development and progress.
“I want make una help tell Nigerians why dem suppose join ADC and use the party take remove APC wey don fail. I still dey beg una and every other Nigerian make una vote and protect una vote with serious follow-up.”
As quick reply, Lagos APC Spokesman, Mr Seye Oladejo, call Aregbesola betrayer. Oladejo talk say, “Make everybody know say APC for Lagos see wetin Aregbesola talk as not just disappointing but also betrayal of the trust and values wey he once stand for inside our party. Wetin he talk dey smell like political desperation and opportunism wey dey hide under ‘new deal’ wey no get substance, structure or credibility.”
He talk say e funny say person wey APC help for over 20 years, from Commissioner for Lagos to Governor of Osun and later Federal Minister fit now come dey talk bad about the same party. If APC don fail, then Aregbesola suppose take responsibility for wetin he do when he dey power, instead of trying to change story and find cheap political relevance.
Oladejo talk say no amount of political drama fit change the truth. Even though people free to chase their political ambition, dem suppose do am with integrity and respect. Lagos APC no dey fear drama or sudden political change.
He talk say APC for Lagos still dey united, focused and ready to continue to give people the benefit of democracy. Dem welcome correct criticism, but dem no go accept lie or political show wey dey try deceive people. APC go continue to build better Lagos and stronger Nigeria.

The Zonal Chairman of the party, Mr Isaacs Kekemeke, yarn this one during the South West Zonal Executives Committee meeting wey happen for Akure, Ondo State. He talk say the meeting na to “put head together and plan programs wey go help President Bola Tinubu win second term.”
As Kekemeke dey talk to journalists after the meeting, he talk say: “We gather to discuss how we go take recruit canvassers for all the wards across all the states for Southwest ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
“Our target be say make Southwest do for President Bola Tinubu for election the same way Northwest dey always do for the late President Muhammadu Buhari.”
