Anambra State chapter of APC don blast Governor Chukwuma Soludo because of him Tuesday visit to President Bola Tinubu, say the visit no go save am from defeat for the November governorship election.

APC, through spokesperson for Nicholas Ukachukwu/Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organisation, Okechukwu Modebe, talk say Soludo meeting with Tinubu for Presidential Villa na “last kick of dying horse” and desperate move to hold onto political relevance.

Soludo, wey be big man for APGA, meet Tinubu for Abuja and pledge support for Tinubu 2027 re-election. But APC talk say dem dey twist the visit like say na endorsement, wey no true.

Dem talk say, “This kind camera show with Mr President no fit clean four years of bad governance, disconnection from people wey vote, and political mistake. To dey parade this kind meeting as endorsement na insult to Anambra voters.”

Modebe talk say APC dey focus on November governorship election and August 16 Anambra South senatorial re-run. Him describe their candidate, Chief Azuka Okwuosa, as “political iron-gate” wey go show say APGA power don reduce.

He beg INEC make dem do free and fair election, say “the days of business-as-usual for Anambra politics don end.”

But President Tinubu, on Wednesday, hail Soludo for the visit, say, “E sweet me to welcome my friend of over twenty years and Governor of Anambra State, Governor Charles Soludo, to Aso Villa yesterday.”

President talk for him verified Facebook page on Wednesday say him and Governor Soludo yan about the reforms wey dey go on, security wahala, and how to create better chances for Nigerian youths to shine.

He talk say, “People wey dey claim say dem be progressive suppose join hand to make our democracy strong, improve security, and change our economy for better. We go continue to put our hope for Nigeria so that better life go reach everybody and e go last well well”
