Air Chief Dey Ask For Patience As Dem Begin Investigate Ondo Plane Crash.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, don beg Nigerians make dem patient as Nigerian Air Force begin investigation into di crash of im ATR 42 aircraft, NAF 931, wey kill all di 25 people wey dey inside.

Aneke visit Igbokoda for Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday, together with senior officers of Nigerian Air Force, as search and recovery work continue for di swamp wey di plane crash enter.

Di aircraft crash on Monday as e dey travel from Benin go Lagos for normal duty. Since di accident happen, rescue and recovery teams still dey work to bring out di plane wreckage and victims from di swamp.

For statement wey Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information for NAF Headquarters, release, Aneke assure families of di victims and Nigerians say di Air Force go carry out proper investigation to find out wetin cause di crash.

E explain say investigators go carefully gather, record and protect all evidence before dem reach any conclusion about di cause of di accident.

As Aneke speak during di visit, e say im come for two main reasons: to check how dem dey care for im people and to see how di recovery work and investigation dey go.

E express deep sorrow over di death of di passengers and officers, and send condolence to di families wey lose their loved ones.

E assure di victims’ families say Nigerian Armed Forces go continue to support dem and make sure dem get di help wey dem need.

Di Air Chief also reveal say im don direct di safety and evaluation department to bring together experts from both military and civilian sides to investigate di accident. Di team go include aviation safety experts, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) representatives, emergency management officials, retired senior officers and experienced Air Force personnel.

E beg Nigerians make dem avoid guessing or spreading unconfirmed stories about wetin cause di crash, say na experts suppose examine all di evidence before dem fit reach any conclusion.
