As e dey talk for Channels Television Politics Today on Monday, di former governor yarn say di buzz around ADC go die inside three months because say some of di top politicians inside di party get presidential ambition. After dem launch di coalition, Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation, and Peter Obi, wey run for president under Labour Party for 2023, declare say dem wan contest for 2027 election. Dem still dey speculate say Atiku go join contest for di party presidential ticket. Sheriff believe say di kasala over who go carry di presidential ticket fit cause wahala wey go scatter di party. Di ex-governor talk say Obi go soon comot from di coalition go back PDP.
Sheriff talk say, “Dis ADC wey you dey talk about, I fit tell you free of charge, give dem three months, di buzz go die because all of dem na presidential materials and na only one person fit be candidate. Atiku don be vice president of Nigeria. So for am, na president or nothing. Peter Obi run under Labour Party. Him ambition na to become president.”
“Information wey dey reach me be say any moment from now, Obi go return PDP and run as presidential candidate under PDP. So dat one go leave Vice President Atiku and (Rotimi) Amaechi. So tell me, which states dem dey control?”
