Di matter burst after one high-level stakeholders meeting, where dem release official communiqué talk say Adeleke go still remain inside PDP, shut down all di talk say he wan move enter APC.

But na di endorsement wey cause wahala, African Democratic Congress (ADC) no smile at all. Dem drag Adeleke say him dey do political zig-zag, and backing Tinubu no go save am from losing Osun governorship seat come next election.

Na Tuesday di tori open well, as Adeleke choice to support Tinubu while still inside PDP land for paper wey journalists collect after PDP leaders meet for Osogbo.

Former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, Senator Lere Oyewumi from Osun East, PDP Chairman Sunday Bisi, former PDP National Secretary Prof Wale Oladipo, and plenty other big men dem show for di meeting.

“PDP for Osun State sabi say Osun na where President Bola Tinubu papa people come from, so e mean say Tinubu na son of di soil.”

“So, PDP for Osun don agree and talk say dem go support and endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to run again for 2027 presidential election.”

For di same meeting, PDP leaders for Osun State don sharply declare say na only Governor Ademola Adeleke dem dey support to run again for governorship seat come 2026.

“PDP for Osun State don confirm say dem don adopt and endorse Governor Ademola Adeleke to run again for 2026 governorship election under PDP platform.”

“Governor Ademola Adeleke and all PDP members for Osun State must remain inside PDP. PDP leaders for di state don get instruction to share di resolution to all party structures inside Osun.”

But as di matter burst, ADC Osun Chairman, Charles Omidiji, no gree. He talk say even as Adeleke refuse to join APC, that one no mean say e go win election. According to am:

“If he no join APC again, e just go make di loss wey dey wait am for polling unit small. If to say he defect, APC and PDP for don scatter finish inside Osun.”

Omidiji even drop strong word say ADC, di party wey get former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as Interim National Secretary, na dem go carry Osun governorship seat next time.
