One man for Cross River State dey police custody after dem accuse am say he kill him girlfriend because of cheating matter.

Di incident happen early Saturday morning for farm inside Nwang Village, Ogoja area, where 35-year-old Malime Ejor allegedly attack him girlfriend, 26-year-old Moshie Igu, with machete after dem quarrel.

Residents say dem hear noise rush go scene but dem no fit stop am before di attack lead to di woman death.

Police don arrest di suspect and rescue am from angry youths wey wan lynch am. Dem say investigation still dey go on, and dem go soon transfer di case to SCID.
