Oba Balogun also call all di leaders of masquerades for Ibadanland to one emergency meeting wey go hold Monday afternoon for ancient Aliiwo Palace, Agodi, Ibadan.

Dis decision come after reported cases of violence, arson, and looting of shops by some hoodlums wey use di cover of di Egungun festival.

Oba Balogun express sadness for di violence wey dey follow di ongoing festival, and talk say e be affront to him palace.

E warn say e no go tolerate di festival being turned into an avenue for destruction when di festival suppose to begin.

Oba Balogun yan say no responsible leader go just dey look when im people dey suffer and dey live in fear because of di actions of few wayward people wey no dey follow law.
