Di Federal Government don inaugurate one Advisory Board and one Ministerial Task Force on malaria elimination for Nigeria.

Di Advisory Board dey chaired by Rose Leke from di University of Yaoundé, Cameroun, while di Ministerial Taskforce dey co-chaired by di Minister of Health, Muhammed Pate, and di Minister of State for Health, Dr. Tunji Alausa.

As dem inaugurate both teams yesterday, Pate explain say malaria dey pose significant burden on Nigerians in terms of mortality, morbidity, loss of work hours, out-of-pocket expenses, and government investments in treatments and interventions.

Di team go dey meet every six to eight weeks and other scheduled meetings, while di membership go dey reviewed biennially to achieve optimum results.
